Well my son does. On this day it was clear skies and the snow had melted.
The Takitimu Mountains are located the Southland Region of New Zealand, that extend in a north–south direction southeast of Te Anau and Manapouri.
The mountain range is about 30 km long and contains several peaks of around 1,600 m height.
In Māori mythology, the mountain range is special to Ngāi Tahu as it represents the upturned hull of the Tākitimu waka wrecked in Te Waewae Bay to the south of the Takitimu Mountains. (wikipedia)

The day before the mountains looked like this and days prior you could not see them well due to the weather.
It was also a good view for his wedding last year on a very cold day. Not as cold as it was the day before, and the following day it was again clear and no snow.
