End of May & NewFO Challenge

Well I have been bad and not started anything on my list yet.  My crafting mojo has for the last couple of months gone walkabout, however it is coming back.

Not quite a quilting project, but my next passion which is cross stitch and on my list is Celtic Christmas.  All supplies have now been purchased and ready to go on a frame.

I also have purchased some more material to start a couple of quilts I have seen in a couple of books and they are on their way in the mail.

January NewFO

This year I have joined up to the NewFO Challenge.  To know what it is all about you can go here and find out from Cat Patches blog.  First up on my list is 12 topped tea towels.  I started and managed to finish six of these this month.

I started of with these Christmas tea towels. I then found the cut out pattern which I have had for a few years now and can not remember where I found it from.

Hunted through my stash of Christmas fabric  sewed away for a couple of days and these are what I completed.

These will be put away and will be used as gifts closer to Christmas.  The rest will most likely be made using un-themed teatowels.

To see more of who particpated this month go to the Linky Party here.

I Am Taking The Plunge.....

Yes I am taking the plunge and joining in on the 2014 NewFO Challenge Barbara is holding over at Cat Patches.  There are many things I want to start and this may be just the thing to get me going.

So what is the NewFO Challenge all about?  Well go here and you will get all the details.

Now my list.  What do I want to start?  In no particular order at the moment:

A Christmas Tree Skirt

Celtic Christmas Cross Stitch

Guardian Angels Redwork Decorations

Santa Portrait Trio Redwork Cushion

Making Spirit Bright Wall Hanging

The Farmers Wife Quilt

A Table Runner called Candy Squares

Tis The Season Quilt

Along with these bigger projects I also want to make:
12 Topped Handtowels
An Oven Mitt
Cross Stitch Decorations
A Christmas Bunting

A lot of Christmas items you may see, but they have been on my hit list for a while now.

Now all there is left to do is to pick what to start first.
