MIA!!

Yes, MIA I have been.  It has been so stressful doing my Master of Nursing and my nursing portfoilio, but things are finally coming along.  I have not done much sewing at all and have been in two biggish swaps which was the Xmas In July one held each year and am on leave from my block swaps and hexagon swaps currently.

However I have entered some items in out local A&P show home industries section next month so a stitching I will be soon.

I also plan on getting back into this blog too, but I also post on Instagram if you want to follow me there.  Just click HERE to follow.

Here is some pictures of what I have done in the last couple of months sewing wise and sent away for swaps

Blocks Galore

I have noticed that I have not posted a few blocks I have received or sent over the last few months, so will update now.  Hopefully these are them all so far but will have another quick look. I am sure there are some 6" blocks missing in this line up.

These are a combination of all the block swaps I am in.

First up some 6" blocks I sent to Delphine back in April

Then a Paper pieced block I sent to Helen in May.  I am amazed I lined those lines up well.

Some 6" blocks sent to Carolyn in May

For the Xmas swap I sent this Pinwheel to Charmaine in June

Then I received from Charmaine this block

In June I also received these blocks from Jan for the 12" Block Swap

And I sent her this block

I sent these to Juanita for the June 6" swap

And received these from her

This was sent to new swapper Lee for the July Xmas block swap

And I got this one from her

Then for the July 12" Block Swap I sent this one to Lorilynn

Some Blocks Finished

Have not been doing much sewing this month so far. Have been away a few times down the line to my parents to go to both the Martinbourough Fair one weekend, then to the 2014 ENZED Superstock Teams Champs the next week and then taking Miss 17 down to her Nursing Course in the Hawkes Bay.  Here is a picture of her in her uniform for lab practice which she sent me earlier this evening on Snapchat.

The sewing I have done so far is the latest blocks for all my block swaps.

First up is the Paper Pieced Block for Julie and is named Lone Star

Then for Ank an Angel call went out and this Attic Windows was made for her.

For the 6" Block swap I made these baskets for Mary

And then for the QBSA I made this Pinwheel for Nikki

Finally for the CQBSA I made another Pinwheel for Carolyn

December Blocks Finally Finished & Ready To Post...Yay

The saying is "better late than never" and this is so true with my December blocks being sent out today.  With so much going on my best laid plans to have them done at the start of December went out the window fast.  But finally they are done and I can finally post them.

The first is my block to Cathy (aka Craftee CC). She has changed her block preference and now is it is Starflower block - in colours of the rainbow, with a solid white OR solid black background.  So I chose purple and yellow.

Then I had Kelly N for the CQBSA and she wanted a Log Cabin in red and green with a yellow centre.

Then over at the PPBC I had another Kelly and she requested this block.

Now onto making January's blocks.
