Hubby has a new Farm Managers job and we are moving in 3 weeks and 2 days. Fortunately, it is from one side of Gisborne to the other. So kids stay at the same school and I get to stay at my job. Unfortunately the view will not be the million dollar view we get now, and the kids bus does not come to the gate, but 3 km from the house.
So for the new few weeks I will be packing and cleaning, and packing and cleaning.
But what is the best thing about this move?? Well the builders are in the house from today starting a new kitchen, bathroom, painting and carpeting and it is costing us nothing as the owners are paying for it all....yay!!
For anyone I am in swaps with I will endevour to let you know my new address, however I will get the mail redirected for the next few months just incase I don't.
Fabulous that the move is so close, and you are getting practically a new house to live in, yay. Shame about the travel not being so convenient. Don't get yourself buried under the boxes ;)
ReplyDeletegoodluck packing and moving.........
ReplyDeleteSo glad the new job is close and your family doesn't have to shake up their lifestyle too much. The house sounds like it will be fab and the only drawback is the long trip to the bus stop. I don't envy you the packing though!
ReplyDeleteHaha! You are right. Moving is always so stressful and exhausting. Just look on the brighter side, Michell. You will be living in your new house soon and all this moving stuff will be over! Good luck with packing, by the way. Remember to take it easy for you to be able to organize all your things properly.
