  127. About me...When I was 10 in 1962, I decided to make a quilt. I asked all the neighbor ladies for scrap fabric and with the help of my mom I hand pieced enough 9 patch blocks to make a quilt. My dad built a quilt frame and the whole family got involved. My dad and both older brother helped my mom and me do the quilting. Lots of pricked fingers but we got it done and I still have it today. It is a well loved memory of my first sewing project. Thanks, Kathy
